Q: When do I have to ship my items to BullionStar?
A: Please ship your bullion items to us within two business days of placing your sell order and e-mail a copy of your shipment receipt to support@bullionstar.com.
Q: How do I sell my bullion that is already stored with BullionStar?
A: Please visit the Sell Stored Bullion page to sell your stored items.
Q: What happens if I cancel my order or don’t send my sold items?
A: BullionStar has a cancellation policy that applies to all orders. If you cancel or don’t follow through with your order, we will charge you a fee of $200 plus potential additional fees to compensate BullionStar for adverse market fluctuations. If you don’t pay those fees, restrictions will be placed on your BullionStar account.
Q: Is there a minimum sell order size?
A: BullionStar doesn’t have any minimums for sell orders, but it is important to remember that all banking and shipping fees are paid by the customer, so it is wise to make sure that those fees are not greater than the payout you will receive from selling your precious metals.
Q: Can BullionStar pay me in cryptocurrency?
A: BullionStar is happy to pay you in cryptocurrency and was one of the first bullion dealers to do so starting in 2014. To get paid in crypto, head to the upper-right hand corner of the BullionStar website and choose your preferred currency. We take payment in and pay out in Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, and Litecoin. After you’ve selected which cryptocurrency you’d like to be paid in, please continue through the selling process, and our system will display the payout amounts in your chosen cryptocurrency.
Q: What is my coin or bar worth?
A: Our “Sell” page lists the prices that BullionStar is willing to pay for common bullion products. If there are bullion items that you would like to sell that are not listed, please reach out to us for a quote.
Q: What kinds of precious metals products does BullionStar buy?
A: We buy most kinds of bullion products. You can see a list of those products on our “Sell” page. If there are bullion items that you would like to sell that are not listed, please reach out to us for a quote.
Q: How long does it take for BullionStar to verify items?
A: Once BullionStar receives your items, we aim to verify them within one-to-two business days. The verification process may take longer for large orders or during periods of unusually high order volume.
Q: How long does it take for BullionStar to pay?
A: Once BullionStar receives and verifies your items, we usually initiate payment within one-to-three business days. Payment may take longer during periods of unusually high order volume, but not longer than seven business days.
Q: How will BullionStar pay out my sell order?
A: We pay via wire transfer or cryptocurrency.
Q: How do I ship my products to you?
A: We will provide you with shipping instructions after you’ve placed your sell order.
Q: What if I send you the wrong items by accident?
A: Please contact us as soon as possible if you realize that you’ve sent the wrong items. If BullionStar receives your parcel and determines that the items do not match the order, we will reach out to you to discuss how to rectify the situation. If you decide to cancel your order, our cancellation policy will still apply.
Q: What should I do if my parcel(s) is lost?
BullionStar has no way to monitor customer items that have been shipped to us. If there is a problem with your shipment, please contact the shipping company and keep us informed. BullionStar is not liable or responsible for any damage or loss of packages when shipping your bullion items to us, which is why we strongly recommend using only reputable shipping companies and fully insuring your parcel.
Q: What should I do if my parcel was tampered with or there are items missing?
A: If BullionStar receives your parcel and observes that it was tampered with or missing items, we will reach out to you to discuss the next steps.
